Baltimore Moves on to Round 2 Sunday, September 19th , 2049 The Baltimore Jaspers and Hillsboro Hops hooked up in a classic Round 1 that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Baltimore heading off to the Round 2, after a 6-3 win at Ballpark of Baltimore tonight earned the 4-3 series win. Outside Ballpark of Baltimore, whether they were supporters of Baltimore or Hillsboro, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Mike Gummere played the hero for the Jaspers in the series, as his MVP performance included a .455 batting average, with a .571 on-base percentage. He also had 1 home runs, 6 RBI and scored 8 runs. The Baltimore Jaspers will play against the Seattle Airhogs in the next round. Seattle won their series against the Hartford Defenders 4 games to 2.
