Vung Tau Takes Round 1 Saturday, September 18th , 2049 The Vung Tau Vipers have booked their place in the Round 2. By a score of 6-1, the club ousted the San Jose Sabercats in the Round 1 tonight at Vung Tau Diamond. Vung Tau won the series by a 4-2 margin. The series MVP was Vipers right fielder Peter Beckstead. For his part, the MVP said he is not putting too much stock in the individual honor and instead simply "looking forward to the next round." The Vung Tau Vipers will play against the Galway Gales in the next round. Galway won their series against the Omaha Steaks 4 games to 2.
