Nelson Baffles Omaha Batters Sunday, September 10th , 2051 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Omaha Steaks as starter Dusty Nelson shut them out, 10-0, at Defenders Ballpark. The Hartford pitcher struck out 5 and walked 2 while allowing 3 hits. "Nelson was good but he wasn't flawless," Omaha manager Rodolfo Hamlet said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Hartford, but this is on us."
