The Hartford Defenders shortstop was referring to winning a division title, as his club has just captured the Division 1 crown. "There's not many better feelings than winning a tight pennant race," he said. "We worked hard for it all year, have our record at 78-61 right now and feel we're in good shape for the postseason." It was the 17th time the Defenders have won the division. It may be a high for Brown and his teammates, but there is certainly one better feeling he's now hoping for. "Winning the Round 3," he said. "Nothing would top that." |
