Kapula Goes 5-for-5 Against Omaha Monday, July 1st , 2052 Marat Kapula was sizzling at the plate. The Hartford right fielder blistered the Omaha Steaks for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to defeat, 17-13. "Kapula was too tough to get out today," Steaks skipper Rodolfo Hamlet said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win." Marat Kapula singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Trevor Phillips in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
