Felipe Diaz Injured, Out for Season Thursday, September 1st , 2050 The doctors have spoken and Felipe Diaz of the Blubs Bay Flappy Bois didn't like what he heard. The 25-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Diaz sustained his season-ending injury during the Hamtramck Paczkis game yesterday at Paczkis Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Blubs Bay medical staff reported Diaz had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 12-13 months. In 23 starts this year, Diaz has crafted a 7-4 record and a 2.67 ERA. |
