Cooper Awarded August's CAA Top Bat Prize Thursday, September 1st , 2050 For a rookie just breaking in, Rowan Cooper certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the CAA Batter of the Month award for August. The 22-year-old center fielder for the Santa Clara Vanguard hit .388 with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This season, Cooper has 23 home runs and a .351 batting average. |
