Hartford Defenders Win Top Spot in Division 1 Sunday, August 28th , 2050 Dave Muzzy said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Hartford Defenders teammates were so excited to celebrate their Division 1 championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 73-57 record on the season. It is the club's 16th Division 1 championship and puts them in position for their 7th CBD Double A championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," manager Leon Quinonez Jr. said pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
