Watson and Fukushima Suspended, Out 4 Games Thursday, August 3rd , 2051 Baseball officials have notified the Vanguard and Paczkis organizations that one of their players has been suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive behavior" in yesterday's Santa Clara-Hamtramck contest at Paczkis Ballpark. Tom Watson of the Vanguard and Atsuya Fukushima of the Paczkis will have to sit out 4 games for their roles in the free-for-all brawl. This season, Watson has hit 4 home runs and posted a .263 batting average. On the year, Fukushima has recorded no saves with a 2-0 record over 42 innings. He has mowed down 27 batters on strikes and walked 18 with an ERA of 4.50. |
