Taylor Strokes 5 Hits Thursday, July 20th , 2051 It was a parade of hits for Tom Taylor of the San Jose Sabercats at Walkerton Grounds. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Taylor finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Sabercats to a win, 6-5. "Taylor was really good and we were really bad," groaned Mounties manager Nick Conley. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Tom Taylor singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
