Stone Sends Hamtramck Bats to Deep Freeze Wednesday, July 19th , 2051 The bats were ice cold for the Hamtramck Paczkis at Paczkis Ballpark. Glendale Skeeters starter Paul Stone kept the Paczkis cold all day, shutting them out, 8-0. In a fine outing, the 24-year-old hurler allowed 4 hits while striking out 1 and walking 4. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Stone admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves." This year, Stone has a 7-3 mark in 19 starts with a 2.80 ERA. He has given up 111 hits in 125.1 innings, struck out 70 and issued 63 walks.
