On a Roll: Afrosimov Hits for Cycle Sunday, July 16th , 2051 Kolenka Afrosimov roughed up Hamtramck Paczkis pitching in a big way at Memorial Stadium, leading the Omaha to a win, 13-2. With his parents and family watching from the stands, the 23-year-old center fielder put on a magnificent show, hitting for the cycle -- collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. "It was a good day for that to happen," a beaming Afrosimov said after the game. "I really got some good looks and delivered. Sometimes you're just on." He finished his historic day with 4 hits in 6 at-bats, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored. Kolenka Afrosimov doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Nick McNeal in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.
