Kriegel Befuddles Key West in 1-0 Galway Win Wednesday, June 21st , 2051 Jake Kriegel kept the Key West Lime Pies hitters from doing much damage at Gales Ballpark. Key West could only muster 5 hits and draw no walks against the right-handed Kriegel, who controlled them throughout the game. Galway won the contest, 1-0. Kriegel added 7 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Kriegel told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." For the year, Kriegel has no relief appearances and a 5-4 record with no saves. He has logged 92.1 innings and allowed 96 base hits.
