Great Day for Renault -- 5 Hits Saturday, August 22nd , 2048 Key West second baseman Curt Renault had a big day at Paczkis Ballpark against the Hamtramck Paczkis. The 29-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led to the 15-3 Lime Pies triumph over Hamtramck. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Renault said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Curt Renault doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off Danny Estrada in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
