Injury Sidelines Colby Summers for Season Wednesday, August 19th , 2048 Colby Summers will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Hamtramck starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Summers was injured while throwing a pitch in the Paczkis-Steaks clash at Paczkis Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 8 months. Thus far this season, Summers has worked 69 innings with 50 strikeouts en route to a 4-4 record and a 4.57 ERA. |
