Skeeters Stop Attaway at 26 Friday, August 7th , 2048 All good things must come to an end -- and so it was today for Jeremy Attaway as he saw his 26-game hitting streak end. He went hitless in 4 at-bats at the hands of the Glendale Skeeters. It wasn't all bad for the 21-year-old left fielder and the Hamtramck Paczkis however, as they defeated Glendale, 2-0, at Paczkis Ballpark. When asked about his hitting streak, a smiling Attaway laughed and said, "I guess my luck ran out today." So far this season, Attaway has gotten 98 hits in 319 at-bats for a .307 batting average with 10 home runs. His stats include 41 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has played in 76 games. |
