Santa Clara could only muster 5 hits and draw 1 walk against the left-handed Taylor, who controlled them throughout the game. Vung Tau won the contest, 9-0. Taylor added 4 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Taylor told reporters after the shutout win.
