Kuras Wins CAA Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 27th , 2048 The CBD Double A presented its Player of the Week Award to Chesterfield Queens shortstop Curtis Kuras. "His numbers speak for themselves," a club publicist said. "He's been really seeing the ball well." Indeed, Kuras has. Last week he went 9 for 24, batted .375 with 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. Kuras is hitting .259 this year with 9 home runs, 34 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 35 hits in 135 at-bats, 22 walks and a .369 on-base percentage. Kuras has played in 38 games. |
