Bad News for Galway, Shockey Injured Saturday, April 27th , 2052 Bobby Shockey is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Galway organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 9-10 months with a stretched elbow ligament. The 30-year-old starting pitcher suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Santa Clara Vanguard. On his stats sheet this season, Shockey shows a 3-1 record, 5 starts, 35 innings, 24 strikeouts and a 3.34 ERA. |
