Alfred on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, July 20th , 2048 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the CBD Double A, but last week Steve Alfred of the Chesterfield Queens reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Alfred rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (11-for-22), 2 home runs and 11 RBIs to come away with the award. For the year, Alfred has hit at a .320 clip with 22 RBIs, 6 home runs and 19 runs scored. |
