Griese Wins Best CAA Pitcher Thursday, June 1st , 2051 When John Griese takes the hill, he's a good bet to nail down the victory for the Galway Gales. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 4-1 mark and 2.38 ERA in 5 starts. In 41.2 innings, he fanned 24 and walked 7. That's why he was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the CBD Double A. This season, Griese has worked 72.1 innings with 40 strikeouts en route to a 6-2 record and a 2.86 ERA. |
