McNally Smacks 3 Out of the Park Monday, May 22nd , 2051 Glendale reliever Brian McNally blasted three homers at Skeeters Ballpark in the 9-6 Skeeters victory over the Sao Paolo Churrasco. For the game, Brian McNally scored 3 times and knocked in 5 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant McNally when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-7, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful McNally told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Brian McNally hit a solo-shot off Matt Overman in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Matt Overman in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, flied out in the 9th, singled in the 11th and hit a three-run home run off Ben Ruffner in the 13th. |
