Kingston-Fresno Brawl, de Luna and Aguayo Suspended Sunday, May 21st , 2051 Alex de Luna of the Kingston Mounties and Manny Aguayo of the Fresno Orange Sox will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Mounties-Orange Sox game at Walkerton Grounds. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN de Luna and Aguayo will begin serving them soon. In 39 games this season, de Luna has compiled a .291 batting average with 41 hits and 3 home runs. He has also scored 15 times and knocked in 12 runs. This year in 8 starts, Aguayo has recorded 3 wins and absorbed 2 losses. He has pitched 44.2 innings, allowed 61 hits, struck out 39 and has a 5.64 ERA. |
