Scott Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Tuesday, May 27th , 2053 The Hamtramck Paczkis fell to the San Jose Sabercats in Paczkis Ballpark, even as 21-year-old right fielder Omar Scott upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Scott finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Paczkis from dropping the 3-2 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Scott. Omar Scott flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Posting a .319 batting average to date, Scott has 1 home run and 7 RBIs. |
