Hartford's Leahy Sidelined for Season

The season is ending on a bad note for Ron Leahy, first baseman for the Hartford Defenders. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Leahy was hurt against the Key West Lime Pies while colliding with a player at a base. He suffered a ruptured finger tendon and will be out for at least 4 months.
This season in 79 games, Leahy is batting .331 with 17 home runs, 52 RBIs and has scored 44 times.
