Seattle-Vung Tau Brawl, Jordan and Spurlock Suspended Wednesday, July 17th , 2047 If there wasn't a history between Jonathan Jordan of Seattle and Danny Spurlock of Vung Tau, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 5 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Jordan said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." At the moment, Jordan is batting .229 with 3 home runs and 12 RBIs. He has played in 47 games and scored 11 times. In 15 starts this season, Spurlock has gathered 2 wins while suffering 8 losses. He has pitched 93.2 innings, allowed 97 hits, struck out 83 and has a 3.75 ERA. |
