Williams Hits for the Cycle

Paul Williams had a banner day at the plate, stringing together all four legs of the cycle as the Omaha Steaks beat the Glendale Skeeters, 11-8.
Williams drilled 5 hits in 5 at-bats, collecting 4 runs batted in and scoring 1 run to capture the win for Omaha.
"I was fortunate to see some good pitches and I was fortunate to be able to make the most of them," he said later. "It was a good day for us."
Paul Williams tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Cory Eckenroth in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
In 16 games this season, Williams has compiled a .400 batting average with 24 hits and 3 home runs. He has also scored 14 times and knocked in 13 runs.
