Salaiz Holds Hamtramck Scoreless Saturday, May 1st , 2049 In a seemingly effortless performance, Julio Salaiz of the Fresno Orange Sox shot down the Hamtramck Paczkis, 5-0, on 4 hits. "Julio was just locating so well and using his pitches," Fresno manager Joseph Winter said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Salaiz recorded 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Hamtramck manager Andy Russell said in postgame comments to BNN.
