5 Hits for Vanguard Castaneda Wednesday, April 26th , 2051 Santa Clara catcher Lorenzo Castaneda had a day to remember, 5-for-7 against the Hamtramck Paczkis at Paczkis Ballpark as the Vanguard picked up a win, 25-7. "He was patient up there," Santa Clara skipper C.J. Benevides told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Castaneda has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Lorenzo Castaneda singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 8th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
