Hartford Downs Hamtramck as Williams Tosses 8-0 Shutout Monday, April 19th , 2049 Hartford Defenders starter Brian Williams really did a number on the Hamtramck Paczkis, shutting them out, 8-0, on 5 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 1 walk and had 9 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Hamtramck manager Andy Russell. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Williams."
