Seattle's Ruiz Collects June Batting Honor Monday, July 1st , 2041 Chris Ruiz put together a good June to earn the CBD Double A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Seattle officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Airhogs left fielder posted a .325 batting average with 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored. In his stats this season, Ruiz has posted a batting average of .277 with 77 hits in 278 at-bats, 11 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has also scored 35 runs, walked 31 times and compiled a .357 OBP. |
