Santa Clara Left Fielder Nets CAA Award Monday, June 8th , 2048 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Santa Clara's Eric Breunig put up last week were the envy of the league, as Breunig came away with CBD Double A Player of the Week honors. He belted out 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week as he posted his .524 batting average. Thus far this year, Breunig is hitting .266 with 7 home runs, 21 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
