Sims Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, June 7th , 2048 Baltimore center fielder Dan Sims had a day to remember, 5-for-7 against the Amarillo Armadillos at Amarillo Grounds as the Jaspers picked up a win, 10-8. "He was patient up there," Baltimore skipper Ruben Fernandez told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Sims has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Dan Sims doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 9th, struck out in the 11th and hit an RBI single in the 13th.
