Spring Hits in 25 Consecutive Games

Steve Spring has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 22-year-old Fresno Orange Sox second baseman extended his streak to 25 games, going 1-for-3 as Fresno got the best of the Blubs Bay Flappy Bois at Orange Sox Ballpark, 3-1.
"Steve has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Orange Sox manager Joseph Winter said. Steve Spring singled in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 4th, struck out in the 5th and struck out in the 8th.
Currently Spring is batting .312 with no home runs and 4 RBIs.
