Great Day for Carter -- 5 Hits Saturday, April 18th , 2048 It was a parade of hits for Mike Carter of the Fresno Orange Sox at Queens Ballpark. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Carter finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Orange Sox to a win, 6-1. "Carter was really good and we were really bad," groaned Queens manager Ryan Muirhead. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
