Perez Bashes 5 Base Hits Wednesday, September 4th , 2052 Galway third baseman Travis Perez had a big day at Walkerton Grounds against the Kingston Mounties. The 29-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 17-10 Gales triumph over Kingston. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Perez said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Travis Perez singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th and hit a three-run home run off Dustin Just in the 6th.
