Fresno Won't Make Playoffs Friday, August 30th , 2052 The Fresno Orange Sox may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in CBD Double A. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Orange Sox manager Joseph Winter said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." Before this season, the Orange Sox had made the playoffs 2 times in a row. In the 35 years they have been a CBD Double A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 23 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Orange Sox have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
