Walters Punishes CAA Pitchers This Week Monday, August 19th , 2052 When it came to hitting the baseball, Tommy Walters was in a class by himself in the CBD Double A this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding second baseman for Key West tagged opposing pitchers for a .455 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 homers, 5 runs scored and 9 RBIs. This season, Walters is swinging the bat at a .266 rate with 95 hits in 357 at-bats. To date he has hit 14 home runs, scored 46 runs and driven in 36. |
