Im Honored by CBD Double A Monday, August 5th , 2052 Won-shik Im, known affectionately as "the old man" by the younger players in the Gales clubhouse, showed his teammates how to do it last week -- and in the process the 39-year-old vet beat out all competition for the CBD Double A Player of the Week Award. He put up a .407 batting average, 11 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 home runs and 11 RBIs. Im also scored 6 runs. This season in 61 games, Im has hit at a .297 clip with 58 hits, 15 home runs, 43 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
