Ansimov Stops Hartford Monday, July 22nd , 2052 Hamtramck Paczkis starter Pavlov Ansimov really did a number on the Hartford Defenders, shutting them out, 2-0, on 7 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 1 strikeout. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Hartford manager Leon Quinonez Jr.. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Ansimov."
