Ventura Earns CAA Player of the Week Monday, July 15th , 2052 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jose Ventura was in a class by himself in the CBD Double A this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding right fielder for Blubs Bay tagged opposing pitchers for a .609 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 14 hits in 23 at-bats, 1 homers, 3 runs scored and 6 RBIs. This season, Ventura is batting .307 with 15 RBIs, 14 runs scored and 4 home runs. |
