Hamtramck-Santa Clara Brawl, Wren and Lubin Suspended Saturday, July 13th , 2052 Steve Wren of the Hamtramck Paczkis and Mike Lubin of the Santa Clara Vanguard received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Rockets Ballpark. On the season, Wren is batting .284 with 12 home runs and 46 RBIs. He has played in 85 games. This year, Lubin has worked 94.1 innings with 58 strikeouts en route to a 4-6 record and 4.58 ERA. |
