Navarro Tags Tigers for 5 Hits Friday, July 12th , 2052 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Ozzie Navarro -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Saigon Ballpark and paced the 8-6 BBQ win over the Ho Chi Minh City Tigers. After his dynamite batting performance, the Memphis center fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Ozzie Navarro singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Vinny Ochoa in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
