Big 3-HR Day for Saxton Wednesday, July 3rd , 2052 Whatever Kevin Saxton ate for breakfast before his game against the Phoenix Falcons, it gave him some impressive power. The Kinsale left fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Blue Raiders Ballpark. His home run barrage helped the Fisherman defeat the Falcons, 7-5. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-5, scored 3 times, drove in 4 and put on a display that history will remember. Kevin Saxton flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jesus Valdez in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Bobby Brian in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Bobby Brian in the 8th. For the season, Saxton has hit .257 with 16 home runs and 43 RBIs. He has played in 68 games and scored 42 times. |
