Kinsale Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game Tuesday, September 26th , 2051 The Kinsale Fisherman and Phoenix Palisades didn't hold back anything in the Round 1, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the Round 2. Kinsale won the final game by a score of 5-4 at Phoenix Ballpark and that concluded the series, 4-3. "Relief is the biggest thing," Kinsale left fielder Kevin Saxton said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Phoenix deserves credit for the hard fight." Saxton paced the Kinsale offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .440 with a .500 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Kinsale Fisherman will play against the Memphis BBQ in the next round. Memphis won their series against the Philadelphia Avalanche 4 games to 1.
