Portland Advances to Round 2 Saturday, September 23rd , 2051 Portland Pickles fans are rejoicing after a 6-2 win at Ballpark of Flint has propelled the club to a 4-1 Round 1 victory over the Flint Coney Dogs. With the win, the club advanced on to the Round 2. "Total team effort, that's the only way we get it done in this one," said Portland catcher Mike Perry, who was named series MVP. The Portland Pickles don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Sarasota Sweeties - Thousand Oaks Rabbits series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
