Philadelphia on Top of Division 3 Thursday, August 26th , 2049 While it seemed a foregone conclusion for quite some time, today it became official: the Philadelphia Avalanche are champions of the Division 3. The club has been rolling well ahead of the pack with a 89-34 record and have now officially qualified for the postseason. "It's a good feeling to know you can't be caught," said shortstop Alex Pimentel. "Now we can focus on getting ourselves ready to win a Round 3." The club's division title was their 11th and they will be attempting to win the franchise's 1st title. According to manager Chad Cox, "I think we've got as good a chance as any team in CBD Triple A." |
