Avalanche Granados CAAA Hitter of the Week Monday, September 12th , 2050 Philadelphia fans have something to crow about today as Philadelphia first baseman Nelson Granados nabbed the CBD Triple A Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Granados. He posted a .500 average (10-for-20) this past week with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs, and 6 runs scored. On the season, Granados is batting .252 with 11 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has played in 78 games. |
