The Math Says - Memphis Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 7th , 2050 The dream of lifting a championship banner above the home field of the Memphis BBQ has been extinguished, at least for 2050. The club was formally eliminated from playoff contention today. Asked to comment on the news, BBQ manager Jim Damewood issued a one-word statement, which cannot be printed by BNN. Memphis last appeared in the postseason in 2045. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 30 times in their 33-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the BBQ have only made the playoffs once. |
