Portland Pickles Win Top Spot in Division 1 Sunday, September 4th , 2050 Members of the Portland Pickles say winning the Division 1 title is special, but ultimately they will only be remembered with a championship season. "We want to put ourselves in the history books and win the Round 3," said right fielder Brian Schmidt. "We all believe it can happen, it's just a matter of putting in the hard work and getting the breaks." It's the 11th division win for the club and they will be vying for their 5th Round 3 win. "To see the team get here, it makes you believe in yourself and all the systems you've put in place," said manager Bryce DeMont. |
